HELP REDUCE STUDENT LUNCH DEBT
Families in the Iowa City Community and the Clear Creek Amana School Districts carry school lunch debt in the thousands of dollars. Education begins with a full stomach! And for many families, unpaid lunch balances create financial stress that affects a child's well-being and education.
Click here to help alleviate school lunch debt for students in the Clear Creek Amana and/or Iowa City Community School Districts. 100% of your donation will be put towards student school lunch debt in the school district of your choice.
(P.S. - Thanks to our friends at Better Way Forward for their partnership in this fundraiser.)

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO ACCEPT INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY PROCLAMATION IN NORTH LIBERTY
North Liberty Mayor Chris Hoffman will proclaim Indigenous Peoples Day in North Liberty at the city council meeting on October 8 at 6 p.m. Volunteers are needed to accept the proclamation on behalf of the Anti-Racism & Social Justice group.
It's an easy job! Attend the city council meeting, which starts at 6:00 p.m. in the new City Hall. Early in the meeting Mayor Hoffman will read the proclamation. You can say a few words of thanks from the group, or just get your picture snapped with the Mayor, and you're done! Even better, grab some friends and do it together in your North Liberty and Justice For All t-shirts! You'll likely be out of there before 6:30 p.m. Questions? Up for accepting the proclamation? Email arsjnorthliberty@gmail.com.
